BREAKING POINT: THE RUPTURE OF BRIDGING VEINS IN SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME is a 3.5 minute educational medical video consisting of 2D and 3D animations that explain the biomechanics involved in shaken baby syndrome, with a focus on the formation of subdural and subarachnoid hematomas. The video is being utilized as an educational tool in various hospitals, universities and medical-legal cases across the United States, Canada and Europe.
- January 13, 2012, footage from the video was featured in CBC’s investigative documentary television program, The Fifth Estate, Season 37, episode 15.
